Capturing the essence of contemporary art, twelve associates from the JamFactory showcase their work in Design Now.
Illustrating the dynamism, creativity, technical flair and enterprise that characterise contemporary Australian design, Design Now features hand-made, one-off, limited production and industriallymanufactured items in a diversity of media including metal, timber, glass and ceramics.
This cutting edge exhibition features work, skills and ideas from leading and emerging designers and makers. It will appeal to audiences looking for insights into contemporary design, to children and young adults involved in design-based studies or learning to engage with and use design-based strategies as a way of shaping their world.
This purpose-designed touring exhibition has been developed due to a need expressed by regional teachers to have an exhibition dedicated to design and comes with comprehensive teaching resources and teacher workshops as part of Country Arts SA’s Learning Connections program.
